The following conditions are extracted and compiled from the USAPL Lifter's Handbook based on Version 2021.1 of the Technical Rules.

UPDATED AS OF 2025: The USAPL Rulebook (v2025.1 – Section 3.14) contains changes, but none that affect belt compliance for our products.

USA Powerlifting belt rule excerpt: materials and construction, and belt dimensions (width up to 10 cm, thickness up to 13 mm along the main length, buckle up to 11 cm inside and 13 cm outside, tongue loop up to 5 cm wide).

The following belt conditions are extracted and compiled from the USPA Rulebook (2025 edition) under Item 3.9 – Belt.

Rulebook item 3.9 Belt. Highlighted 3.9.6: a buckle with one or two prongs, quick release or ratchet style is allowed; Velcro may only supplement it. A diagram numbers each measured dimension.
